The underwear are designed to provide a level of shaping with clothing on top. We wanted to design a cottony soft pair that is super comfortable.   If you are looking for a more feminine style of underwear, check out the Extra Cute shaping underwear. If shaping is a larger issue for you, we recommend the RUBY Shaping Bikini Bottom.  Many people do wear these under their clothing.

Size Guide

Sizing for all RUBIES bottoms should be close to standard US sizing. If it seems far off of what you would have expected, contact us through our chatbot on the bottom left of our website.

Measure all the way around the waist just under the belly button. Pick the size based on which waist range it fits in.

We want you to be completely satisfied, whether you purchased a pair of RUBIES or received them as a donation. With this in mind we offer a 100% guarantee for 60 days from when you receive your package. This should let you or your child wear them for a few days to see how comfortable they are.

If they don't fit, no problem. We will help you select another size and send them out right way. We don’t need to wait for you to return any items.

If they just don't work out we are happy to accept a return for a full refund.

RUBIES shaping products for bottoms such as our shaping underwear, bikini bottoms and one piece are designed to look and feel like regular stylish clothing that cis people are wearing.

It should not be necessary to tuck or wear our bottoms super tight. Ideally they fit comfortably: not too tight and not too loose.

Unlike tucking bottoms, they are not intended to completely “hide the bump”. Instead they are designed to convert the pointy area to a more feminine mound. This is why they are extremely comfortable compared to any other products on the market.

If these are intended for your kiddo who is struggling to feel comfortable in their RUBIES, we gently suggest you educate them how girls or women are not flat there either, rather they are just shaped differently. This can be seen in pictures of cis women and girls wearing leggings.

RUBIES shaping products for up top such as our bras, bikini top and one-piece have two slits in the chest area that can be used to add multiple inserts like the RUBIES shaping chest pads. This is perfect for those that are experimenting with shaping up top.

Our tops are made to accommodate a slightly wider torso. Our bra has adjustable straps and clasps. The bra strap is stretchy enough to allow the bra to be put on without using a clasp, as some people new to bras can find this daunting.

All our bikini bottoms are made with a combination of nylon and Spandex. All our underwear and bras are made from a combination of polyester and Spandex and our t-shirts are 100% cotton.

We recommend that you do not use a high heat setting when you put RUBIES products in the wash and dry on a very low heat setting or line dry.
