My daughter is almost 9 and finding swim skirts that she likes or will wear to cover up are difficult. When Jamie (the founder) reached out to a group of parents w/ trans daughters to see if we would give insight and help him with the design, we jumped at the chance. Jamie was thorough and kind. My daughter Maddie LOVES these bottoms. She loves how they fit, and that she can shine just like every other girl. Jamie’s motto and the fact that our pair was received with post cards from other girls encouraging Maddie was what the world needs right now. If there were more stars to give, I would give them all.

I have to admit I was skeptical that these would smooth as promoted. My daughter is one of the girls that was invited to try the prototype. She is 14 and has already went through male puberty so there's a lot to smooth. We were both blown away! She doesn't tuck and these look amazing! I have a 12 yr old cisgender daughter as well and you could stand them side by side in these bottoms and you wouldn't tell a difference. They really are that good.

We met the designers of Rubies last year and our families became friends. Our kiddo befriended Rubies namesake and the two have continued their shared bond over tik tok, music and aesthetics ever since. Our child, Sky got to be one of their models for rubies products and that experience alone was one she really took to heart and loved. The swimsuit bottoms give her so much comfort and confidence and she has taken to wearing them as underwear daily!
